I would just like to say in this day and age it was refreshing to have a buying experience like I had at this dealership in Stevenspoint. The person I dealt with for a couple weeks on a purchase of a John Deere 333G was Jeff out of sales he was not only polite he was also very helpful and most importantly he was very trusting! My experience made me feel like I was traveling back in time when a handshake meant something! I am from Bayfield Wisconsin and I traveled down to Stevens point to make this deal at the end but the majority was by phone with Jeff. He trusted that I was going to come up with the money. Because of the situation with banks with COVID right now it took a few weeks. I needed to finance the balance of the purchase and he was patient and understood the dilemma I was in. Not only did he impress me but he impressed my sons of which I have four. One is now in the market to buy a loader and will be dealing with Jeff. I was rebuilding the transmission in our 6x4 Trail Gator and needed replacement parts. Since there were several updates and new part numbers it was somewhat a complex process. After stopping at a few Riesterer and Schnell stores we finally found the one that fit us perfectly, Marion! We had been working through Wes since July and eventually set up a time and date to come his way to look at a used 1025R. Unfortunately a few days before we got there the 1025R was sold. Wes asked us if we still wanted to make the trip and we decided to stop by. Once we met Wes and after talking with him briefly it was clear that he was focused on what we wanted or needed not just trying to sell us a piece of equipment. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He suggested things that might be helpful in the future knowing what are plans for the tractor were. He wasnt pushy and took his time with us. There was another customer waiting for him, so we took his suggestions and talked them through. When he was done with the other customer, we continued talking with him. He listened to what we had to say and worked with us to make sure that we were getting the right equipment that would be beneficial for us. This experience was outstanding. We chose to drive over an hour to talk and it was well worth it! Our next stop to Marion will be for a rear tiller.
I cant say enough about the service I received. From the time you enter the door, until you leave you feel like family. They are there to serve your needs in the best way for you and your tractor. I worked closely with Chris,the mechanic, and he pointed out the problems I had, and would have later, and gave me paths that I could take for the end results. Without his guidance and personal care, the tractor could have been fixed in a short time only to be back with more and bigger problems later. He gave me time to pick the best path and now Im setup with a good package. I dont want to pass anyone up at the front desks. Hey, they were a big part in this thing. I wont mention names because I might miss one. They are all great! Did I say the service is great! Example: I needed a windshield wiper for my older tractor. Not a common wiper and very hard to find. A day later I got a call, its ordered. How much money does one make on a wiper? Did I mention service? I see they are hiring. If you have the skills, you will like working with these people.
Worked with Wes Wiesman on purchasing a used UTV. The rest of the staff was courteous and welcoming. Wes was patient and helpful throughout the process. I would recommend to anyone looking for a John Deere dealer to go to Marion for their needs and this will be my go-to from now on.

Service Manager Brian Porter addressed my mower deck service request as scheduled and provided extended service beyond expectation. This was my first visit to the Westfield Dealership and I never mentioned that I myself was a Deere and Company employee for 42 years. I called with a problem on a snow blower attachment for a riding mower. They came the same day picked up and did a full check on it. I asked for some spare parts to be sent back and got them. Called the service dept. Dennis was able to answer all my questions. When Bob came to pick up and drop off he was very professional. Bob also on both pick up and drop off ask if I had any questions. I feel that everyone at this location is a pleasure to work with.
I recently bought a 350 lawn tractor with a snow plow attachment. I cant be happier with it. After the polar vortex it wouldnt start. With another 5 to 8 inches of snow coming tonight and a 550 foot driveway I wasnt sure what to do. I called Riesterer and Schnell and they sent someone to my house, picked it up and within 2 hours got it running and back to my house. Brian Porter is the service manager and He really stands behind that waurentee! Great service! I would recommend Riesterer and Schnell to anyone looking for a John Deere.

Transmission problem. Set pickup date, was advised it may be two weeks before the shop could look at the problem, then the repair time may depend on need to order parts, etc. Left on vacation the day of pick up, a Wednesday. The following Tuesday I got a call that the job was complete so we arranged for delivery two days later, the day we returned from vacation. Thanks Dave, Bob, and Gary! We are happy!

Bob Wiese dropped off my new X370 and showed me the ropes, at least half which I remember. What I liked about his introduction was that he interpreted the official manual terms, brought it down to the practical level. When I went through the manual, I remembered some of the extra items he pointed out and I really appreciate that approach. He was also a nice guy.

This tractor replaced my old (33-years) 318. Bob did a great job of explaining to Greg (he cuts my grass) how to run this new tractor. It is a lot different than the old 318. This past week I had an unfortunate electrical issue with my JD tractor that I only purchased 10 months ago from R&S. Obviously this was frustrating as I didnt expect things to break so soon. Upon hearing my circumstances, Eric (Dalebroux) immediately reached out to me to understand the situation and to offer his assistance. Within 24 hours, Eric had made arrangements to pick up the tractor, schedule the repair and to ensure that it came back to me in good working order. With the holiday weekend ahead, I have much work to get done on the farm and with Erics support I will now be able to do that. I wanted to write to you to let you know what an outstanding job Eric did and how satisfied I am with all that he provided. From his prompt attention to explaining the necessary repairs needed to even helping me purchase an additional accessory, he was great. Too many times life goes by without saying thanks and good job and I did not want this to be one of them. So Id appreciate if you could also recognize Eric as well.

I just wanted to say thank you to you (Jason Schraufnagel) and the service department for getting our tractor repaired and cleaned quickly so we could continue with our landscaping before the graduation party we are hosting next weekend. I know you hear complaints, but I wanted to let you know we do appreciate it so much!!!!
My husband bought a tractor from U yrs. ago. it got it work out. He pass away 8 yrs. ago & now his son-in- law has it & its still going. Nothing like a John Dere running like a deer ! Fast & ferrous...

Overall interaction with my dealer has been excellent. At this time I have had nothing but a great experience. My sales consultant was excellent, he answered all questions.
I had a great experience. My sales person, Kent Latzig, went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with my tractor and attachments. He even dropped parts off at my house a couple of times. You dont see that much these days. Kent gets a 10 from me.
My new X319 just got through blasting my 1000 ft. long driveway (on an up-hill grade) open in spite of the super wet slush that was on top of it. Never once did it clog due to the wet snow (as drizzle poured down) (what a mess), nor did I get stuck, thanks to the four-wheel drive system. I can honesty say I am happy, to say the least, that I was able to do what I just did, and it didn’t even take that long to boot. My hat is off to J. D. for the four wheel drive system design and the design of my two-stage blower. By the way, I treated the machine carefully, I didn’t have to “beat it” just to get the job done (which I would not do anyway, being the gear-head, retired engineer, I am). Do have a great day.
