John Deere Recognizes Riesterer & Schnell Technician, Channing Bloss as a Territory Champion

Congratulations to Channing Bloss, Riesterer & Schnell - Westfield Service Technician, honored as John Deere Territory Champion 2023!
Each year John Deere recognizes Technicians of the Year across the US and Canada who have shown exceptional service to their dealership, customers, and communities. Channing is one of 95 Technicians in the US and Canada who has been selected as a Territory Champion.
Channing has been an invaluable Technician at our Westfield location since 2016. The quality of his work is priority #1, he takes the time to answer questions, and he happily mentors new student technicians to help them grow their career with Riesterer & Schnell. Channing is also involved in his local community as a retired fire chief, volunteers for the boy scouts, and welcomes foreign exchange students into his home.
Tom Vande Corput, Riesterer & Schnell CEO, shared "It’s not only an honor to see Channing's name on the list, but his name on the list with Riesterer & Schnell. When a customer comes into the dealership and Channing is there to take care of them, I do believe they know they are well taken care of because of the level of quality service Channing provides as well as his ability to communicate with them every step of the process. Each time I visit Westfield, I think, here is a man that is dedicated to the job, enjoys what he does with his hands fixing equipment, and also sharing his knowledge with others."

Channing is one of only a handful of Technicians within Riesterer & Schnell to have earned his Certified Technician status in 2023. Earning the Certified Technician status is no easy task - it entails countless hours of dedicated training. Channing's positive attitude and desire to grow helped him breeze through the training successfully.
Brian Porter, Service Manager at Westfield, shared "I am so proud of everything that Channing has accomplished. From the first day that I met Channing, he told me that taking stuff apart didn't bother him because it’s just nuts and bolts. I have never forgotten that. Channing seems to like to pass that along to new student technicians coming in, showing them not just how to do it, but how to do it correctly the Riesterer & Schnell way. This continues to help us grow into a stronger business. Customers rely on Channing and trust him to help them through their tough situations."
Channing sums it up best. "I like doing good for people, knowing that I was part of helping a person or business in need and seeing the result of appreciation, the satisfaction of seeing a tractor/machine working in a field and knowing I had a hand in helping that farmer or business be successful."
