There are controls at your fingertips, an easy-to-read instrument panel, and outlets to recharge your phone. Comfort and convenience packages include cargo box power lift, dual-beam LED headlights, turn signals, even a winch.

Shift from park and into gear with a throw of a single lever. Power steering on M- and R- trim vehicles is smooth and responsive.

When the going gets tough, you can instantly engage four-wheel drive and rear differential lock with switches. Even at night, the backlit switches are easy to see. If a front wheel starts to slip, the front differential automatically locks to pull you through.

Molding the cargo box allows for built-in features that enable the box to be quickly reconfigured for the unique needs of every job. You can use standard 5-cm (2-in.) dimensional lumber to hold cargo in place or divide cargo box into separate areas. You can add a second level of storage space by leveraging the tiered storage lip. Stake pocket clamps allows for quick and toolless attachment installation and removal. On M-trim and R-trim vehicles, a 12-V power port is available to power attachments.

The tailgate includes a flat work surface, ruler, and pockets to place hardware. A v-channel and four reinforced clamping pockets work together to securely hold round objects. Bump stops provide raised edges position your square edged objects.

Since your hands are always full, the tailgate can be opened and closed with one hand. You can also lower the tailgate to carry longer items or remove it for easy cleanout.

The XUV 845 and XUV825M S4 Gator™ Utility Vehicles are powered by an electronic fuel injection (EFI) gasoline engine with liquid-cooled, dual-overhead cams. This engine is designed to provide maximum power and fuel efficiency to muscle through tough jobs.

It also has plenty of torque in low range, and fast speeds in high range. The enclosed drivetrain automatically adjusts for fast acceleration, along with powerful hauling and hill-climbing capabilities.

7P Poly Utility Cart

Every owner of a John riding lawn and garden product is a potential customer for a high-quality, affordable utility cart. Utility carts can be used to haul a variety of materials including firewood, lawn debris, sand, dirt, mulch, garden tools, plants, and bushes.

Utility carts are designed, painted, and decaled to be compatible with other John Deere equipment.

7P Poly Utility Cart

The cart has a premium molded, high-density polyethylene box construction.
Compression molding process allows polyethylene to be the optimum thickness in all areas for superior strength and durability.
Polyethylene body will not rust or dent; it stays looking new longer.
0.75-in. (2-cm) x 2-in. (5-cm) stake pockets are molded in to make the addition of side extensions easy.
Two vertical 0.75-in. (2-cm) molded channels on each side allow easy use of dividers to separate the box into two or three compartments.
Ribs in the box bottom add strength and prevent the shovel from hitting bolts when emptying the cart.
Sloped tailgate design makes emptying the box easier; there is no tailgate to loosen or remove.
Styling is compatible with other John Deere equipment.
Pneumatic tires provide turf tread for good flotation, shock absorption, and minimal rolling resistance.

The hopper design provides efficient bagging performance, clean operation, and easy-to-empty bags:

Two durable bags with a generous, 6.5-bu (229-L) capacity lift out for emptying and are easy to reinstall.
Efficient lower chute provides smooth flow of material to reduce chance of plugging.
An air-exhaust duct directs air from the hopper back and toward the ground for clean operation.
A convenient bungee-cord fastener makes opening and closing the hopper easy.
It is easy to install and remove the hopper, and no tools are required after the initial installation.
Pins and spring clips hold the hopper and chute in place; there is nothing left to interfere with other attachments when removed.
Loose-knit bags allow more air to flow through to provide complete bag filling in wet and heavy grass conditions.

Requirements and/or recommendations:

The bagger kit can be set up without tools in minutes, provides efficient bagging performance, and has easy-to-empty bags. This is also commonly known as a material collection system (MCS).

Additional details

Front ballast is recommended when bagging, especially on hills or inclines. Follow instructions in your operator’s manual.
Use of rear tow-behind attachments that could contact the hopper assembly is not recommended.

The MCS 6 attachment is designed to provide dump from the seat grass collection/expulsion for John Deere 100 Series and S240 Tractors equipped with the 2-bag material collection system (MCS). The MCS attachment eliminates the need to get off of the tractor and empty the bags. As a result, it will increase both efficiency and cleanliness in the mowing process.

The aluminum body is lightweight and easy to handle. Conveniently located hand lever and smooth release and latching system are easily accessed from the tractor seat. Because it is engineered specifically for the John Deere Material Collection System, installation is a breeze with simple hand tools.

The front blade is excellent for pushing light snow or other loose material.

The blade is constructed for good performance and long life:

Blade surface is curved to roll rather than push material, which requires less power and increased blade capacity.
Bolt-on, replaceable cutting edge takes most of the wear to greatly extend the useful life of the blade.

For operator convenience, the blade comes with standard equipment for controlling it from the tractor seat:

Blade can be angled left, right, or used in the straight-ahead position.

Full working range

The 46-in. (117-cm) blade can be operated up to 6.5 in. (16.5 cm) above ground level.

Floating action is designed into the lift linkage, so the blade is free to follow the contour of the ground.

The lift-linkage design makes raising the blade easy.
