Great Tractor

5/5

No issues. Wished it was bigger. (Don't we all) Like the 43-!6.00-20 rear R4's I have 3rd function on 320R Loader with 4th and 5th to run Top and Tilt. I also added Power Beyond to run Splitter. Excellent Hydraulic pressure, I have tires loaded with RimGuard and loader will still lift rear tires. Plenty of HP for my application. Absolutely Love It!

Pros

  • turns on a dime.

Cons

  • hydraulic is noisier than i would like.

Love my tractor

5/5

Bought this tractor in Nov 16. I got the cab as I mow 5+ acres, out of my 10 acres, in the summer and move snow in the winter. The air conditioning is great. Having the cab precludes me from blowing mud out of my nose after mowing. In the winter, the heated cab keeps my fingers warm, (I actually have to turn down the heat after working it for a while). I mow on a hill, and the power is adequate. ( I thought about going to the 3039R, but I wasn't keen on a turbo). Because I keep the RPMs up while mowing, I have yet had to experience a Re-gen. Haven't had any mechanical problems other than chaff clogging the radiator. I have the 72"MM. Got it as my prior tractor required me to wrestle the deck under the tractor while trying to hook up the mid PTO with the bucket holding the tractor off the ground. In my older age, I wanted something safer. If there was one thing I wish the tractor had, it would be a wider wheel base for working on hills. All in all very happy with the tractor

Pros

  • comfort ergonomics power.

Cons

  • narrow wheelbase.

Tractor and Loader is great, Backhoe has a problem

3/5

The tractor and loader works well just got done with spread 16 -14 yard loads of topsoil and both worked well along with box blade. The backhoe is the problem though, I have owned two other (Kubota) tractors with backhoes and they are smooth. The operation of the John Deere 375A backhoe bounces all around with minimal touch to controls. I broke a window trying to remove dense hedge of rose bushes because of the bouncing around. Have had to the dealer twice his tech said it operates ok. I disagree but with no other dealer in Alaska, I am the one stuck with the problem. I hope the backhoe product engineer reads this note! Not happy with backhoe!

Pros

  • tractor regenerates the reason i switch fr kubot
  • loader has great lift capacity
  • backhoe on and off is great

Cons

  • backhoe operation is terrible

The 3033R is a very reliable tractor.

5/5

I own a 137 acre homestead with my 3033R and my 5065E. I use both tractors on a daily basis and use the 3033R for about two hours a day. The 5065E is a 2017 and the 3033R is a 2016. Both machines still run very well. I highly recommend this product.

Pros

  • quality machine
  • name brand

Cons

  • big and bulky

Excellent Break Out Capacity with the H165 Loader

5/5

I have owned my 3033R for five months now and it has provided excellent durability and quality. It is one of the best investments I have made, would recommend this tractor. It is a great size for any kind of job. Moves hay bales weighting 1300-1500lbs with ease (combined with the H165 Loader). Great choice for commercial or residential use. Love my John Deere!!!!

Pros

  • excellent lift capacity

Cons

  • have not found any as of yet

Does not meet the hype!

1/5

Well to keep it simple the tractor has 314 hours on it and had been in the shop 5 times and just gave me a transmission code this will be the sixth time. Bought brand new 0 hours. -wouldnt start (battery was good and had fuel flow) -stalled without load (pressing pedal to move forward the engine would die) -pto light on without pto switch on (tractor would shut off and had to use weight of person in the seat to operate the backhoe) -shorted wires to a sensor -fuel pump went bad -Engine stalled using loader. (fuel tank does not seal well and contaminated the fuel. clogged fuel screens.) -lines for loader/root rake need to be adjusted frequently. rubs front right tire and back left tire. -fuel filter bowl cracked -transmission code.....to be determined

Pros

  • easy to operate
  • loader has enough power
  • multiple hydraulic & attachment and add on options

Cons

  • lack of quality parts
  • poor sealing fuel tank
  • electrical nightmare
  • shuts off without codes

First time using new 3033r cab, the tractor just lost power and died.

3/5

The dealer sent a service tech right out (thank you) to fix problem (snow blower wasn't correctly installed), temp fix was made so tractor could be used, damaged replacement part was ordered. Still waiting for new part to be installed. In addition the fuel gauge always reads full? Rear cab window doesn't like to fully close and latch.
