The Sunset of the 2630 Display
written by Alan Mehne
Product introductions are fun and exciting but leave the burning question, how long will my current product be supported? With the introduction of the Gen 4 4640 universal display in 2014 and the 4240 display this spring, we know there is an end date in sight for the 2630, but when is it?
John Deere recently announced that on June 1, 2020 the 2630 will not be available to order new from factory. Take a deep breath, John Deere will still support the 2630, and the display will continue to be the very user-friendly display that the industry has come to rely on.
During the upcoming off season, have a consultant from your Integrated Solutions Team sit down with you to show the possibilities. The 4640 expansion and Operations Center with the latest updates and future enhancements, will give a far superior experience for the user than the 2630-APEX system.
