Manitowoc County Career Expo

On January 8th, 2020, Elise Opicka our Human Resources Coordinator had the opportunity to speak to over 100 students at Lakeshore Technical College. The audience consisted of all the Sophomores in Manitowoc County in cooperation with the Manitowoc County public and private high schools, University of Wisconsin Green Bay-Manitowoc Campus, Lakeshore Technical College and Holy Family College. The students got to choose the career path they were interested in learning about, and agriculture was the #1 selected career topic of the day. The Manitowoc Chamber of Commerce organized this event which provided students the opportunity to learn about career opportunities, career planning and future employment opportunities in Manitowoc County.

Elise covered several topics in relation to working for an equipment dealership including: Sales, Parts, Service, Integrated Solutions, and other support functions. Students also had the opportunity to learn about our service technician sponsorship program.
