John Deere Electric One-Touch MulchControl
Switch Between Mulching & Side-Discharge with the Push of a Button
John Deere officially launched electric One-Touch MulchControl that provides the operator with enhanced versatility, productivity and convenience when it comes to cleaning up grass clippings. With a push of a button, the system allows the operator to quickly change between side discharge, mowing and mulching. This is all done without interrupting the mowing process. The One-Touch MulchControl mode regulates clipping dispersion in unwanted areas, such as driveways, landscape beds, near buildings, windows and parking lots. In areas where grass is too thick for mulching, side-discharge mowing is the better option.
Why Mulching is Important for Your Lawn:
- Returns clippings to the soil, which promotes growth through natural fertilization
- Serves as a protectant for varying temperature conditions
- Creates a water retention mechanism to assist with stabilizing soil conditions
Which Riding Lawn Mowers work with the One-Touch MulchControl System?
